Robert Mulligan, Professional Headshot

Robert P. Mulligan—President and CEO

Robert P. Mulligan, named President and CEO of Renaissance in February 2011, has an extensive background in building and growing dental plans. Previously, he was regional vice president of dental market solutions for United Healthcare Specialty Benefits, where he held several senior-level positions.

He has also worked for Guardian Life Insurance Company of America as its senior sales executive of large account dental sales and co-founded Optimum Health Inc., an alternative health care network and employee benefits company in Chicago,  additionally he has held market and network development positions for First Commonwealth, Inc. Robert is a graduate of the State University of New York and has done postgraduate finance and accounting work at the University of Chicago.
 
Jeff Kolesar, Professional Headshot

Jeff Kolesar—Senior Vice President, Group Strategy and Administration

Jeff continues to support Renaissance as the senior vice president of group strategy and administration, bringing with him nearly 20 years of experience in the insurance and employee benefits industry. His responsibilities include overseeing the national group sales and account management teams as well as developing sales and marketing plans to achieve new business objectives.

Previously spending more than 12 years with Guardian Life Insurance, Jeff’s extensive experience includes strategic product development, growth and planning for numerous dental and vision products on a national scale.

Tom Dimmer—Vice President of Business Development, Individual Market 
and Exchanges

As one of the most successful sales executives working in the dental benefits industry, Tom oversees Renaissance's national individual sales division and new business development efforts. As an accomplished sales leader, Tom thrives at building meaningful partnerships with the nation’s largest private healthcare exchange platforms to market individual dental product solutions.

Tom has found great success in creating marketing niches in the B2B2C world and thanks to his efforts the Renaissance Dental brand is online and selling nationally in direct-to-consumer, private and public exchange markets.

Terry Walsh, Professional Headshot

Terry Walsh—National Director of Sales and Market Development

Terry Walsh is an insurance industry veteran that joined Renaissance as National Director of Sales and Market Development. He is responsible for exploring growth opportunities for Renaissance's group insurance sales in new markets. Terry brings more than 30 years of insurance experience to Renaissance, previously with Guardian, where he was one of four regional vice presidents for 15 years.
Tom McInteer, Professional Headshot

Tom McInteer—Chief Actuary

Tom joined Renaissance in January, 2016 as Chief Actuary, bringing with him more than 35 years of experience within the U.S. group insurance industry. Tom, a graduate of Wake Forest University, earned Fellowship to the Society of Actuaries in 1983. Prior to Renaissance, Tom spent 24 years with Guardian, fulfilling several roles and ultimately becoming responsible for overall pricing of the entire group product portfolio. In addition, he managed all facets of their multiple dental networks. At Renaissance, Tom is responsible for building an actuarial infrastructure that supports and enables Renaissance growth.


 

Jaye Stanko, Professional Headshot

Jaye Stanko—Director of Operations

Jaye has worked at Renaissance since 2003 and has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry. She has an Indiana Individual Resident Producer license and is a member of the National Association of Dental Plans.


 

Dustie Mercer, Professional Headshot

Dustie Mercer—Director of Call Center Operations

Dustie Mercer joined Renaissance in March of 2015 as Director of Call Center Operations. She has a Bachelor's degree from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, and brings with her over 15 years of call center leadership experience.

Her commitment to maintaining employee morale and a positive work culture, she believes, directly contributes to creating the best possible customer experience.
